As the Boston Bruins get ready for the first game of the season against arch-rival Montreal Wednesday night, word from B's camp is no Shawn Thornton and no Daniel Paille in the lineup.

Thornton is recovering from a concussion sustained in that on ice fight with Buffalo's John Scott. Paille has what the team calls an upper-body. Neither player will travel with the team to Montreal.

Brad Marchand injured his shoulder in Saturday night's game against Toronto. He will be a game time decision. Ryan Spooner has been called up from Providence and will take Marchand's spot if he can't play.
