Drug agents seized thousands in marijuana from a laundromat storage area and other locations. Some of the pot was processed while the rest was still in plant form.

Public Safety spokesman Steve McCausland said in a press release that MDEA agents and deputies from the Oxford County Sheriff's Office made the bust just before 11 a.m. on June 10th. In the storage areas of the laundromat on Bridge Street in Porter, they found some of the pot, while the rest was found in several other locations.

Seized in the bust were 109 live marijuana plants and 11 pounds of processed marijuana. MDEA says the estimated street value of the drugs was $80,000. Two brothers from Porter have been charged with Class C Cultivating Marijuana. They are Mark Vieira, age 54 and Richard Viera, age 55.
