The Dexter Tigers earned a quarterfinal win Tuesday over the Madawaska Owls and a trip to the Class C North semifinals on Friday.

No stranger to tournament play, No. 5 Dexter (14-6) kept No. 4 Madawaska (17-2) on their heels throughout the game, which ended with a 50-26 score.

The Tigers were led by Megan Peach, who despite spending most of the first half on the bench, scored 19 points. Kayli Cunningham had 13 points.

The Owls played a tough game behind the effort of senior guard Desiree Belanger with 11 points.
