Goalie Tim Thomas will start against the Boston Bruins down in Florida Thursday. The former B's goalie suffered a groin injury last Tuesday and came out of a game against the Flyers. The B's game will be his first one since the injury.

Thomas sat out last season in the last year of his contract with the Bruins. He helped the B's win the Stanley Cup two years ago.

When he decided to play hockey again at the age of 39, he had a tryout with Florida and was eventually signed to a contract.
