Former Boston Bruins goalie Tim Thomas is thinking about coming back to the NHL. He has instructed his agent to check with teams to gage interest. Remember, Thomas who is now 39-years-old, took this past season off.

In 2011 Thomas was the B's MVP in their Stanley Cup championship season. Things seemed to start turning sour when he refused to go to the White House for the typical ceremony to honor the team. Then he decided he wanted to spend more time with family and opted not to play this past season which was the final year of his contract that would have paid him $5-million-dollars.

The Bruins traded Thomas to the NY Islanders and at the moment he is free to sign with any club.

Hmmm...Should the Bruins try to bring him back?
