Tommy Lawrence Third Team All American

UMaine senior pitcher Tommy Lawrence has been named a Collegiate Baseball Daily/Louisville Slugger 2014 Preseason All-American - the only America East Conference player selected.

Lawrence makes the third team preseason team after a stellar junior season that saw him winning conference pitcher or the year award and ECAC pitcher of the year award.

His record was 11-3 (school record for wins, conference record for wins with 8) and an ERA of 2.32. Lawrence pitched 104.2 innings with 78 strikeouts.
