Former UMaine coach Greg Cronin and his fellow Toronto Maple Leaf assistant coaches are fired. Head coach Randy Carlyle gets a contract extention. Welcome to the world of pro coaching.

The Maple Leafs did not make the playoffs, fading down the stretch with a 2-12 record.
