The Bangor hockey team got a point worthy win and a season split with Falmouth by posting a 6-3 victory at Sawyer Arena.Falmouth handed the Rams its only class A loss of the season on Friday in Falmouth, but Bangor controlled nearly the entire game in the re-match with Jordan Tracy scoring in the first period to put the first point on the board. Fifty six seconds later Trevor Delaite made it two nothing when he scored his team leading 8th goal of the season. Bangor tacked on two more goals in the second period from Tracy and Justin Courtney.

After going up five nothing in the third, Falmouth took advantage of Bangor penalties by scoring the next three goals, two by senior Tyler Jordan. Jake Fournier sealed the win with an empty-netter with just nine seconds to play.

Bangor improves to 9-2 on the season and will play Gray-New Gloucester on Wednesday, followed by Scarborough, the number one team in Western Maine on Saturday.
