Trout Walk-off Homer Beats Boston [VIDEO]

Just three days after winning the all-star game MVP award Mike Trout was the hero for the Angels after hitting a walk-off homer to beat Boston 1-0.The game turned into a pitching duel between Wade Miley and C.J. Wilson and was scoreless in the bottom of the 9th inning when Mike Trout stepped to the plate with two outs and delivered a Koji Uehara pitch over the center field wall to give the Angels a 1-0 win.

Miley pitched his best game of the season allowing just 1 hit over 7 innings while striking out 6. The problem for Boston was that Wilson was just as good, shutting out the Sox over 8 innings.

The teams play game 2 of the 4-game series tonight with Rick Porcello taking the mound for Boston.
