Martin Truex Jr. won the 2017 NASCAR Cup championship but the retirement of Dale Earnhardt Jr. seemed to take center stage at Homestead, Florida Sunday evening.

Truex led the last 78 laps and beat out Kyle Busch for the title, his first driver championship.
