Two Run 7th Wins It For Bapst

The Hermon Hawks were in need of some big heal points to get themselves back in a playoff spot but came up short losing to John Bapst 5-4.The Hawks scored 2 runs in the top of the 7th to take a 4-3 lead in hopes of getting the upset. However the Crusaders had other plans as the first two batters in the bottom of the 7th reached base. Cody Lyons then singled in the game tying run on his third hit of the day. Jon Deschaine laid down a bunt that was fielded by the pitcher but his throw to first sailed into right field allowing the winning run to score.

John Bapst is now 11-2 while Hermon drops to 5-8.
