Former #1 pick Tyler Seguin returns to Boston Garden tonight to play the Bruins. It's his first game as Dallas Stars player against his old team. Remember, the B's and Stars pulled off the big trade this summer.

Seguin and Rich Peverly were dealt to Dallas in exchange for Loui Eriksson and Reilly Smith and two other young players.

Despite being the second overall pick in the NHL draft, Bruins management got tired of Seguin's work habits and sometimes questioned his off-ice life. The B's decided to make the bold move and trade him.

Dallas is 6-6-2 through 14 games and Seguin is the leading points guy with 6 goals and 9 assists for 15 points. Peverly is 2 and 5 for 7 points.

Eriksson is battling a concussion after playing in the first 8 games with 2 goals and an assist. Smith has been a pleasant surprise, playing in all 13 B's games and has a goal and 6 assists.

Live coverage of Seguin's first game back in Boston on Sports Radio 92.9 The Ticket begins at 6:30PM.
