U.S. Amateur Q: Dugas Third At Halfway Mark [SCORES]

Halfway through the U.S. Amateur Championship qualifier at the Ledges Country Club in York, Husson University golfer Gavin Dugas is in the hunt to go to Pebble Beach. But, there is more golf to play.

Keep in mind, only the top two scorers get a spot in the U.S. Amateur. The next two top scorers become alternates.

Dugas fired a 2-under par 70 in his first round. That puts him in a tie for third place among 60 golfers. The leader is 4-under and two other golfers are 3-under. Players are now on their second and final round of competition now.

Maine Amateur champion Jack Wyman carded at 1-under score of 71. He is in 7th place.
