U.S.Open Golf: Day 1 [SCORES]

Some of golf's biggest names are struggling bigtime in the first round of the 118th U.S. Open Golf Championship at Shinnecock Hills GC in New York.

Windy conditions and a tough links course is taking its toll on players.

One-under par is the best score so far but names like Rory McIroy is 9-over par. Jordan Speith is 8-over and Phil Mickelson is 6-over.
