UConn, Notre Dame Get Final Four Wins
It will be UConn vs. Notre Dame for the NCAA women's national championship game as both teams earned Final Four wins Sunday night.The UConn Huskies cruised to an 81-58 win over Maryland and will now play for their thrird straight national championship. A win would also give head coach Geno Auriemma his 10th and tie him with former UCLA men's coach John Wooden for the most all-time.
Notre Dame advanced with a 66-65 win over South Carolina. Coach Muffet McGraw's Irish will try to win their second title but the numbers are not in their favor. Notre Dame is 11-32 all-time against the Huskies and have lost their last three.
