UM Bears Split With Stony Brook

UMaine pitcher Tommy Lawrence did it again...another complete game win, 2-1, over top ranked Stony Brook. The Bears lost the the second game of the doubleheader 11-3 and settled for a Saturday split.

For Lawrence, it was his third straight complete game win. He gave up just 1 run on 8 hits in his 9 innings of work. Lawrence struck out 7 and walked 1.

After the split with the Seawolves, UMaine is now 6-7 in America East and 18-24 overall.

Stony Brook is 11-4 and 25-15.
