UM Men Win, Women Lose At Buzzer [VIDEO]

Maine's Kilian Cato scored 17, Dimitry Coronel scored 14 and hauled down 10 rebounds as the Black Bears opened America East Conference play with a win 82-66 win Binghamton. The win at the Cross Center puts Maine at 3-10 overall and 1-0 in AE. Check out some of the highlights...

UMaine women's basketball dropped a heartbreaker at the Cross Center Sunday afternoon, 86-85. Yale's Nyasha Sarju scored on a driving layup play as the buzzer sounded to end the game. The Black Bears drop to 6-8 as fulltime America East Conference play begins this week.

With 15-seconds to play, Maine's Ashleigh Roberts hit a basket to put the Bears up 85-84 but on the following play Yale came down the floor, found an opening and scored the game winner. Yale improves its record to  6-7.

For the Bears, four players scored in double figures. Liz Wood led with 23, Roberts with 18. Check out some highlights...
