Make it four wins in a row for the UMaine women's basketball team after Monday's 61-48 victory over East Tennessee State University. It was game one at the UMiami Holiday Classic Tournament in Florida.

Now the (7-5) Black Bears meet the host Hurricanes today at 5pm in the championship game.

Maine got off to another good start vs ETSU, leading 19-9 after one quarter and never trailed.

Tanesha Sutton scored a career high 16 points to lead the Bears. Sigi Koizar added 12.

Maine forced the Bucs to turn the ball over 20 times and ETSU shot just 29%.

The Bears shot 45% from the field.

The tourney title game today should be a tougher test for the Black Bears. UMiami hammered Coppin State 75-35 in the first round game last night. It is Miami's 10th straight win (10-1). The Hurricanes are nationally ranked #11 or #12 in most polls.
