UMaine Gets Swept By Hartford
UMaine baseball got great pitching but not enough hitting and was the storyline Monday afternoon when Hartford beat the Bears 2-1 to sweep the three game series at Mahaney Diamond.
Maine led 1-0 into the 8th inning but the Hawks got one run to tie the game and then scored another run in the 9th to win it.
Hartford's sweep puts them at 6-2 in America East and 16-10 overall.
Maine drops to 1-5 and 9-19.
