The UMaine hockey team still can't get a win. At day two of the Capital City Classic in Trenton, New Jersey the Black Bears lost to Princeton 3-1 in the consolation game.

The Bears early season struggles continues with a record of 0-4-3.

After a scoreless first period, the Tigers scored twice within a three minute time span and that proved to be enough.

Dane Gibson scored for the Black Bears in the third to make it 2-1 but when the Bears pulled goalie Rob McGovern for an extra attacker Princeton scored an empty netter to make it a 3-1 final.

The schedule gets no easier for the Bears. Next weekend it's a two game series at Boston College.
