The UMaine football team is on the road tonight in Philadelphia to play the Villanova Wildcats in a key Colonial Athletic Association contest. The Bears are 4-1 in conference play while the Cats are 2-2. These teams have played each other 18 times over the years with each team winning 9 times. One trend that might favor the Bears is that the road team has won each of the last 5 games.

Defense has been the strength of this years team as the "Black Hole" is second in the CAA against the rush allowing just 18 yards per game.

Maine will again try to get their offense in gear as inconsistent play from the quarterback position has hurt the unit's overall production. Last week the Bears made a change at halftime electing to use sophomore Drew Belcher for the entire second half. Prior to that Dan Collins took the majority of the snaps with Belcher coming in on some running situations.

Here is a look at the CAA standings going into the weekend.
