After playing their first 30 games of the season on the road the UMaine softball team will finally get a chance to play at home today when they host Stony Brook.The Bears and Seawolves will play a double header today at Kessock Field and a single game on Sunday. Maine enters the game with a 15-15 overall record and 4-2 in America East putting them third in the standings.

Stony Brook is the first place team in the conference with a 5-1 record, 19-12 overall.

The Bears have been led by the pitching of Alexis Bogdanovich of South Portland who just received her fourth conference Pitcher of the Week award last week. The senior is 9-4 with a 1.87 ERA and has struck out 108 batters while walking just 7.

First pitch today is scheduled for 12 noon.
