The University of Maine men's basketball team finished a stretch of three games in five days with a tough 108-81 loss at George Washington.The Bears trailed by 10 points at halftime before getting outscored 52-35 in the second half as the Colonials put five players in double figures. Shaun Lawton led Maine in the loss with a career high 23 points to go along with 6 assists and 6 rebounds. Dimitri Coronel added 16 points and Zarko Valjarevic 13. Ted Woodward's Bears are mow 1-2 to start the season and have a week off before hosting New Jersey Institute of Technology November 19 at the Cross Insurance Center.
