UMass Lowell, BC Picked To Win Hockey East

Hockey East coaches have spoken and they say UMass Lowell  and Boston College are the teams to beat in 2013-14. The River Hawks got 7 first place votes, BC received 4. UMaine is picked to finish 8th.

This is the 30th year for Hockey East, now with 11 teams in the league with the addition of Notre Dame. UConn is next to join HE to make it 12 teams.The vote point total has UM-Lowell and BC tied with 104. The River Hawks are defending champs, BC is picked #1 for the 6th straight year.

The Black Bears got 45 votes which places them 8th in HE.
