Former University of Maine track and field athlete Jesse Labreck advanced to the Las Vegas Finals of the popular reality television show American Ninja Warrior on Monday night.

Labreck became the third woman to qualify this season for the finals as she made it via the Philadelphia qualifier. She was on the Black Bear track and field team from 2009-2013 after being on the team for Messalonskee High School.

Labreck took part in the NCAA heptahlon in 2013 and finished in 19th overall in the event.  She still currently holds 11 state records from her time at UMaine. She goes by the nickname of “Flex” on the show and earned the ‘POM Run of the Night’
