Boston Red Sox fans know all about Don Orsillo getting ousted at Fenway and moving to the San Diego Padres. How about the Maine connection in the Padres TV booth, former Black Bear slugger Mark Sweeney.

Sweeney was an America East Player of the Year back in 1991 for UMaine baseball. He went on to have an extended big league career. In fact, Sweeney played for seven teams over 13 years in MLB. He is second on the all-time pinch hit list with 175.
