The Union College Dutchmen remain the hottest team in college hockey. A 5-2 Saturday night win at Alfond Arena over the Maine Black Bears gives the Dutchmen a weekend sweep and a 21 game unbeaten streak dating back to last year.

The defending national champs are now 4-0. Maine falls to 0-4.

Union scored the first goal of the game just 51-seconds into the game.

It stayed 1-0 until the second period when Maine's Cam Brown scored a powerplay game.

That's when the Dutchmen scored three unanswered goals over the next six minutes to put the game away.

Maine's two goalies totaled 34 saves. Union's two goalies stopped 31 shots.

The Bears try to get in the win column next weekend when Alaska-Anchorage comes to Alfond.
