The University of Southern Maine baseball team rode the bats of Forrest Chadwick and Mike Verrier to an 11-5 win over Baldwin Wallace University at the College World Series.Chadwcik had three hits and drove in four runs to help the Huskies overcome a three nothing deficit in the 5th inning to take a 5-3 lead. Chadwick also reached base on a walk, stole a base, and scored two runs, all while playing with partially torn quad muscle. Catcher Matt Verrier came up with two hits in the game and also drove in four runs, and was one of four USM players to have multiple hits. Andrew Richards picked up his second relief win of the series pitchingthe middle three innings for his seventh win of the season. USM will now play Emory University out of Atlanta Georgia today.
