USM Wraps Up LEC #1 Seed

The USM Huskies wrapped up the #1 seed in next week's Little East Conference baseball tournament with a 9-1 win over UMass-Dartmouth this afternoon. The victory makes USM 12-1 in conference play and 28-8 overall.

The Huskies have won 21 of their last 22 games and are the top ranked Division III team in New England.

Jake Dexter was on base five times (3 hits, 2 BB). Andrew Hillier had a hit and two RBI. Andrew Olszak and Zack Quintal each had three hits.

Dalton Rice went the first 6.1 innings, giving up just one run. He wins his 6th game of the year.

The Huskies will host the LEC tourney starting next Wednesday.
