After winning their last two America East games the UMaine men struggled from the start at Vermont and lose to the Catamounts 93-65.Vermont went into the game with the number one defense in the conference and showed why. They came up with 10 blocked shots and took advantage of 13 Maine turnovers to cruise to the win. The Catamounts held a 18 point lead at the half and kept the momentum in the second half to improve to 9-1 in the conference.

The Bears were led by Zarko Valjarevic who had 19 points, Killian Kato had 15 and Xavier pollard 10. Maine is now 5-17 overall and 3-7 in America East. Next up is a game in Binghamton on Saturday.
