The University of Southern Maine baseball team is one win away from claiming back-to-back NCAA regional titles after an 8-4 win over Endicott College Friday. The Huskies are the only unbeaten team in the Northeast regional thanks to Matt Verrier who collected three hits, drove in a run, and scored two leading USM to their third win in as many games. Shortstop Sam Dexter added two hits and an rbi as the team pounded out 11 hits in the game.

USM awaits the winner of MIT and Endicott for the title game. They would have to beat the Huskies twice while USM needs just needs one win.
