Wine Tips:

Recipe for some summer goodness for your next backyard cookout.

Pairs well with summer fun and food.

1 bottle of Winterport Blueberry Wine chilled,

2 large juice oranges – 1 sliced, 1 juiced

1 large lemon, sliced

1/4 cup sugar, 1/4 cup Triple Sec

Add orange, lemon and sugar to pitcher and mash till fruit releases some juice and sugar is dissolved,

Stir in orange juice, Triple Sec and wine.

Add ice cubes and stir prior to serve.

Beer Tips:

Looking for a brew on a hot day?

One that’s light enough to refresh you with summer flavors to enjoy?

Try Penobscot Bay Brewery’s Humble B Honey Ginger Lager. It’s a balanced blend of local Winterport honey and fresh ground ginger, lightly hopped so the spice from the ginger and the sweetness for the honey fill the glass.

Sold in 22oz bottles or growler fills from the tap at the brewery.
