Every Friday Mid May – October 2p-6p you will find us at the Hampden Farmers Market with Pairings’ Chef Doug’s wonderful baked goods like fresh baked bread, scones and croissants and some of Winterport Winery’s wines and Penobscot Bay brews to purchase.
August 10 – Kahbang’s Bangor Brewfest on the Bangor Waterfront – 1st general session 12-3p/VIP session 4-5p/ 2nd general session 5-8p
August 17 – Off site catered event at UM Art Museum – Call museum for tickets
August 24 – End of Summer Goodness Beer and wine dinner – menu to follow. Reservations required – Call 223-0990

Why They’re Unique: They are a local producer of wine using for the most part locally sourced products and they are also unique to have an on-site brewery and food/restaurant operation.
They Can Answer Questions Relating to: What is the difference between fruit wines and grape wines? There are so many different beers – what makes them different? What’s a good pairing for my dinner meal?
Meet The Expert
Michael Anderson has been a Commercial Winemaker for 12 years (as a hobby for 40 years), Commercial Brewer for 5 years (home brewer for 30 years).
Joan Anderson is co-owner and head of marketing for the winery for 12 years, wine appreciator for 40 years.

BLUE FOR YOU SANGRIA
1 bottle of Winterport Blueberry Wine chilled,
2 large juice oranges – 1 sliced, 1 juiced
1 large lemon, sliced
1/4 cup sugar, 1/4 cup Triple Sec
Add orange, lemon and sugar to pitcher and mash till fruit releases some juice and sugar is dissolved,
Stir in orange juice, Triple Sec and wine.
Add ice cubes and stir prior to serve.
