Voting is underway to decide the next recipient of the First National Bank High School Athlete of the Week award.

This week's nominees are Kory Winch of Hampden, Kent Johnson of Hermon, Raeanah Reynolds of Washington Academy and Makenzie Beaudry of Foxcroft Academy.

Kory Winch of Hampden scored 26 points in the Broncos' 70-45 victory over Mt. Blue last Thursday. The senior guard added seven rebounds, six assists and four steals in the win against the Cougars. Winch had another 26-point game last Tuesday in Hampden's 87-64 victory at Medomak Valley.

Kent Johnson Hermon

Kent Johnson of Hermon scored 18 points in the Hawks' 49-30 victory over Presque Isle on Saturday. Johnson also scored a game-high 14 points in last Wednesday's 46-29 triumph over MDI. Hermon sits in first place in the Class B North heal point standings with a record of 16-0.

Raeanah Reynolds of Washington Academy scored 17 points in Friday's 51-39 loss to Calais. The Freshman also scored 15 points against Old Town last Tuesday and 27 against Orono on Jan. 25. Reynolds was named the Big East Conference's Player of the Week for Week 7 of the regular season.

Makenzie Beaudry of Foxcroft Academy scored 22 points in the Ponies' 59-48 loss to Hermon last Thursday. The senior forward scored 25 in last Tuesday's 39-38 loss to Ellsworth. Beaudry is averaging 16.9 points per game this season.

Voting is restricted to once every 24 hours. Voting ends at 11:59 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 6.
