Windham's Shawn Warren put together a round of 2-over-par 72 on the second day of the PGA Professionals Championship and is tied for 4th place heading into the third  round.

Warren is now 2-under-par for the tournament, five shots behind the leader and looking to at least finish in the top 20 which would earn him a spot in the PGA Championship, the last major tournament of the season.

On Tuesday Warren, the club pro at Falmouth Country Club battled to get back to even-par with a birdie on the 12th hole but gave that back with a double bogey on 14. He tees off for the third round today at 1:20pm

John Hickson of Topsham had tough second round shooting a 78 and missed the cut.
