Wasilewski Tops Stats In Total Offense

UMaine quarterback Marcus Wasilewski is topping the CAA stat sheet when it comes to the category of total offense. Through the first two games, both Black Bear wins, the senior QB is responsible for an average of 303 yards a game.

Wins over Norfolk State and UMass has the Maine team 2-0 with the home opener coming on Saturday when the Bears host Bryant College.

Wasilewski has rushed for 130 yards and passed for 476 yards. The 606-yard total is #1 in the CAA through two games.

On the other side of the ball Maine's team defense is #1 in the league, allowing an average of 244 yards a game.
