Allen Webster had his best outing in his young Red Sox career in Friday night's 4-2 over the LA Angels. He pitched 6 2/3 innings allowing just two runs. Webster gave up four hits and two walks. It was his longest outing as a Sox starter.

On the offense side, Brock Holt and Dustin Pedroia had two hits, Yeonis Cespedes drove in two runs and MIke Napoli hit a solo home run.
