Whitney Throws 2 Touchdown Passes

Lobster Bowl2 Mt Blue quarterback Jordan Whitney threw for 311 yards and 2 touchdows leading the east to a 25-13 win in the annual East vs. West Lobster Bowl.For his efforts Whitney was named the games MVP. His first touchdown pass went to Chandler Shostak of Cony before hooking up with Ryan Rebar of Foxcroft Academy for his second, a 39 yarder. Shostak finished the day with 4 catches for 152 yards. Mt Blue running back Chad Luker ran for the other east touchdown.

The game which features the of the best seniors in the state is also a fundraiser for the Shriners Hospitals. This year they raised $95,000 dollars which is the most in the 24 year history of the game.
