Former UMaine quarterback and assistant coach Bobby Wilder led his Old Dominion football team to a huge upset win over #13 Virginia Tech 49-35. It's the biggest win in ODU history.

Wilder is from Madison. After an outstanding high school career he quarterbacked the Black Bears and then climbed the ranks of coaching. He left UMaine to restart the Old Dominion football program in Virginia in 2009.

He has taken the school from the FCS ranks to FBS division and eventually a bowl game.

But today's win tops it all. The first time the two Virginia schools have met and the Monarchs get the victory. ODU had started out the season 0-3.
