This evening will be the 2016 edition of the NBA Draft in New York City as 60 players are set to hear their names called to enter the professional ranks.

The Boston Celtics are scheduled to make eight selections over the two rounds of the draft, but do not have the roster space to keep all the picks.  The Cs have one of the most speculated and sought after picks in the draft at third overall, which will come after Ben Simmons and Brandon Ingram will likely be drafted 1 and 2.  Boston will also have picks 16, 23, 31, 35, 45, 51,and 58.

According to Andy Katz of ESPN, the Cs are down to Kris Dunn and Jaylen Brown for the third pick if they don't trade it.  They are also rumored to be nearing a deal for Jahlil Okafor or Nerlens Noel from Philadelphia, while still shopping the selection for players like Jimmy Butler, Gordon Heyward, and Kevin Love.

The draft will get underway tonight at 8 p.m. and you can hear live coverage on Sports Radio 92.9 The Ticket starting at 7 p.m.
