The Little 10 and Big 10 football conferences handed out their postseason awards on Sunday with Mt. View's Tyler Ripley and Winslow's Alec Clark taking top honors.In the LTC Tyler Ripley was named the Player of the Year after rushing for over 1,200 yards this season. He helped lead the Mustangs to a semifinal appearance in the playoffs and a 6-2 record.

Mt. View coach Haggie Pratt who has been instrumental in the Mustangs recent success was named the LTC Coach of the Year.

In other awards, Curtis McLeod of MCI is the defensive Player of the Year and Ethan Sewall-Berry of Mt. View is the Offensive Lineman of the Year.

In the Big 10 Conference Alec Clark of Winslow received Player of the Year honors. The Senior played linebacker and guard and helped the Black Raiders win a fourth straight regional championship and this years state title.

Mark Shields of MDI was named the Coach of the Year after guiding the Trojans to a 7-3 record and an appearance in the regional semifinals.
