The #2 seeded Brewer Witches cruised past the #7 seeded Gardiner Tigers Saturday night at the Augusta Civic Center to set up a Class A North semifinal match up with Medomak Valley. 

The Witches controlled the low-scoring affair with Gardiner from the tip-off and added to their lead throughout the night, possessing leads of five, eight, and 12 points at the end of the first three quarters respectively, before eventually winning, 50-34.

Matt Pushard was a force for the Witches at both ends of the court, scoring a game-high 19 points and grabbing 16 rebounds. Kobe Rogerson added 10 points for Brewer, while Carter Smith chipped in with 9.

Gardiner's offensive attack was led by Conner McGuire and Brian Dunn who combined to score 18 of the team's 34 points on the night.

Brewer's match up with #3 Medomak Valley will take place on Wednesday (2/17) from the Augusta Civic Center. Gardiner's season comes to an end with a record of 8-12.
