For the first time in 16 years the Camden-Hills baseball team can call themselves Eastern Maine Champs.Coach Jeff Harts Windjammers beat Winslow 3-1 at Mansfield Stadium to claim the Class B crown. Camden-Hills grabbed the early lead when Mike Wolff ripped a 2-run double to left field in the top of the first inning. In the second inning Dalton Oakes added to the lead with a two out rbi single. As it turns out, that would be all the scoring the Windjammers would need.

Starting pitcher Ben Rollins pitched the complete game 8-hitter and got himself out of tight spots throughout the game. With bases loaded in the bottom of the second inning he got a strikeout to get out of the jam. He would do the same in the fifth inning by getting back-to-back strikeouts with two men on.

The title is the third in school history and the first since winning back-to-back titles in 1998 and 1999.
