Wood, Collett Up For Fitzy Award
Brewer High School's Trey Wood and Orono HIgh School's Keenan Collett are among 11 semi-finalists for Maine's 46th Fitzpatrick Trophy, an award that honors the state's best senior football player.
Trey Wood was a power runner for the Witches, leading Brewer to a regional final vs Brunswick. Wood rushed for 1,521 yards and 23 TDs during the regular season. He had 63 tackles as a linebacker.
Keenan Collett led the Red Riots with 1,009 yards and 14 TDs during the LTC regular season. He caught 35 passes for 723 yards and 9 TDs. He also led Orono in tackles on defense.
