Four University of Maine basketball players scored in double figures to help the Black Bears extend their winning streak to double figures.Liz Wood poured in a game high 21 points to go along with 6 rebounds and 5 assists and lead the Bears to a 74-46 win over UMass Lowell. Coach Richard Baron had three players come off the bench to score double figures including Lauren Bodine who went 4-4 beyond the 3-point line to finish with 12 points. Chantel Charles also had 12 while Mikaela Gustafsson added 10.

One of the keys to the Bears winning streak has been their stingy defense which held the Riverhawks to 29%shooting on the night.

UMaine returns to the Cross Center for a game Sunday afternoon against Stony Brook who sits right behind Maine in the America East standings.
