Make it three straight wins for the University of Maine women's basketball team after the Bears beat Central Connecticut State on the road 72-58.Maine trailed by six points at halftime before outscoring the Blue Devils 48-22 in the second half to improve their record to 4-3. Liz Wood led all scorers with 23 points to go along with 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Wood was one of three Black Bears in double figures with Sigi Koizar adding 21 and Sophie Weckstom's 15.

The Bears hit 12 3-pointers in the game with Weckstrom making 5, Koizar had 4 from beyond the arch and Wood had 2.

The Bears play their next three games at home starting with Harvard on Sunday.
