The UMaine women's basketball team shot the ball 77 times and rebounded the ball 57 times en route to an 88-65 win over UMass-Lowell. The win puts the Bears at 15-13 overall and 9-6 in America East play.

On senior night, it was sophomore Liz Wood leading the way with 20 points, 14 rebounds and 8 assists.

Senior Ashleigh Roberts also had a double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds.

The Bears shot 35 for 77 from the floor (45%) and the 57 team rebounds are the most since 2005.

UMaine finishes the regular season at UNH on Saturday and the Bears are locked into that #4 / #5 bracket for the upcoming AE playoffs.
