Red Sox pitcher Brandon Workman has been suspended for 6 games by MLB for throwing at Tampa Bay hitter Evan Longoria. He will also have to pay an undisclosed fine.

Interestingly enough, Rays pitcher David Price, who hit two Sox batters, gets no suspension or fine.

Workman was scheduled to pitch Wednesday night vs Cleveland.

Remember the whole Sox vs Rays thing Friday night started when Price hit David Ortiz in the first inning. Warnings were issued. Price hit Mike Carp later. Then Workman threw a ball behind Longoria and got ejected from the game.
