The Boston Red Sox capped off the month of April with another grand slam and another win, 10-6 over the Kansas City Royals.

The slam came off the bat of Xander Bogaerts - his second grand slam of the season and the team's sixth. Keep in mind, the Sox did not hit one all last season.

The victory was the 19th in April, a franchise record, and puts the Sox at 21-7 through late March and April. That's the best record in baseball.

Mitch Moreland added a two-run homer and had three hits.

J. D. Martinez and Hanley Ramirez both had two hits.

On the mound, a short night for Eduardo Rodriguez who gave up five runs in four innings. Three relievers helped to shut down KC for the rest of the night.
