The Yankees came back on the Red Sox twice and finally grabbed the lead for good in an 8-7 Sunday night. The Sox had leads of 3-0 and 7-4 but each time Clay Buchholz surrendered the lead. Buchholz struggled through five innings, giving up seven runs, walking five. He has now given up 13 runs in his last 10 innings.

The game winning run came off Craig Breslow in the 6th inning - a solo home run from Brett Gardner.

The Yanks end up taking two of three in the series at Fenway.

After a day off, the Red Sox begin an eight game roadtrip that will be all inter-league games, at St.Louis, LA and Cincinnati.
