Kevin Youkilis Headed to the Bronx

Former Boston Red Sox third baseman Kevin Youkilis is back in the American League East.Youk has told the New York Yankees that he will accept their one-year, $12-million dollar contract. The Yankees have a need at the hot corner after Alex Rodriguez underwent hip surgery that will keep him out of action until at least June.

Boston traded Youkilis to the White Sox last season after developing a cold relationship with manager Bobby Valentine. He hit .235 with 19 homers and drove in 60 for Boston and Chicago in 2012.
